After attending the Roosevelt school of performing arts in Milwaukee, WI, Nicholas Demps also known as “The World Famous N.I.C” would often follow his father, a jazz DJ and radio personality at the time, to work. It was on these trips a seed was planted to become an entertainer and DJ. During this time he was also introduced to a group of individuals that allowed him to see how far his passion would eventually take him. Nicholas was too young to actually join the group but he tagged along with his sister who was an official member. That group ultimately went on to become the Grammy award winning “Arrested Development!” Seeing them work led him to focus on his craft and showmanship by DJing local block parties and seeking the taste of success that was sure to come.

As a teenager Nicholas moved to California and set his sights on sports but when approached by a top-modeling agent for representation, his passion was quickly redirected. The doors of opportunity were open for him to achieve his true calling. Nicholas quickly went on to land major national modeling campaigns with clients such as Abercrombie and Fitch, Ralph Lauren, DKNY, and G.Q. He also worked along side top photographers and models like Bruce Webber, Dewey Nicks and Tyra Banks. Nicholas also got his shot at acting and took it by storm. He starred in featured roles on the television shows, In The House, Moesha, The Parkers, Sister/Sister and landed recurring roles on General Hospital and All About Us. His latest role was in the award winning independent film, Truth Hall.

Never losing his passion for music and the art of DJing, Nicholas A.K.A. “The World Famous N.I.C” signed a major recording contract in 2000. As a member of B.M.I., he has written and composed songs for television shows such as City of Angeles and Passions. He has been blessed to work along side artists such as the legendary artist Stevie Wonder, LL Cool J, Missy Elliott and Brandy. He has been a featured DJ in national commercials for McDonalds and Sunkist and also a featured mix show DJ and radio personality at 102.3FM in Los Angeles.

N.I.C currently can be found DJing in some of Los Angeles’s premiere venues, corporate events, and performing in Las Vegas as the resident dj/drummer act, “Stix & Halos”, with drumming extraordinaire, Tony Royster Jr. Determined to continue his list of achievements and cement himself as one of the industry’s elite, you can be sure this multi-faceted entertainer will keep showing the world what makes Nicholas Demps...
